A pair of three-year-old colts have been added to the 77th Annual Little Brown Jug (Thursday, September 22, presented by the Ohio Harness Horseman’s Association, for $45,000.
By the missal (At the seaside) is owned by Burke Racing Stable, Eric Good, Rich Lombardo Racing and Weaver Bruscemi and is packaged by Ron Burke.
He is looking to become the first Ohio-raised Jug Champion since BJ Scoot (1988).
Bythemissal had just one start as a two-year-old but made up for lost time this season. He has amassed over $537,000 in prize money with his wins at the $350,000 Adios Pace Final and the $300,000 Carl Milstein Memorial.
