The proportion of pharmaceutical companies hiring for cybersecurity-related positions reached an annual high in August 2021, with 25.6% of the companies included in our analysis hiring for at least one of these positions.

The latter figure was higher than the 22.3% of companies hiring for cybersecurity-related jobs in July 2021 and an increase from the 16.8% figure for the equivalent month last year.

When it comes to the proportion of all cybersecurity-related vacancies, related vacancies increased in August 2021, with 0.7% of newly posted vacancies related to the topic.

The latter figure represents an increase from 0.5% of newly posted cybersecurity-related jobs in the equivalent month a year ago.
