CHEROKEE COUNTY, SC (FOX Carolina) – Niagara Pharmaceuticals has announced plans to establish its first U.S. operation in Cherokee County in 2023.
Known for its Health Saver and Pur-Wash brands, Niagara Pharmaceuticals offers eyewash products such as emergency washes, contact lens cleaners, additives for stand-alone eyewash stations and conditioners for portable wash units. .
Officials said the company plans to invest $9 million in the operation and create 45 new jobs in the area.

The company’s new facility will be located at 1290 Mt. Olive Road in Cowpens. Officials said the goal of the new facility is to increase production to help the company meet demand.

The Economic Development Coordinating Council recently approved employment development credits for this project. The council also awarded Cherokee County a $200,000 grant from the Rural Infrastructure Fund to help defray building improvement costs.
